Board Certified Virginia Oral Surgeon

Dr. Andrew “Drew” Ferguson was born in Coatbridge, Scotland and grew up in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Ferguson graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a B.S. in Zoology and earned his DDS degree from University of Louisville in Kentucky. In June 2007 Dr. Ferguson received his Oral & Maxillofacial certification from University of Southern California and joined COFS in July 2007.

Dr. Ferguson is registered and licensed to practice as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Ferguson is a member of numerous professional organizations: American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Society, Richmond Dental Society, Richmond Academy of Medicine, Virginia Dental Association, Virginia Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Ferguson is registered and licensed to practice as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

Community/Volunteer

Dr. Ferguson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Dentistry and participates in undergraduate and residency teaching programs. Dr. Ferguson participates with the Mission of Mercy and Donated Dental Services.

On a personal Note:

Dr. Ferguson is married to Cindi and they are the proud parents of seven wonderful children: Carter, Connor, Lauren, Audrey, Blake, Caden, and Taylor.   When not spending time with his family,   Dr. Ferguson enjoys volunteering at church, running, playing roller hockey and table tennis.  He recently completed his first triathalon.

Fun Fact:   Dr. Ferguson speaks and writes French fluently and served as a missionary in France for two years.
